Considered the hardiest pear form the University of Minnesota, Summercrisp pears are petite, sweet and crisp. They are beautiful, with a red flush over a yellow green background. They are excellent fresh eating pears, but also pair attractively on a cheese board or a salad. They store in refrigeration for about 2 months.
