APPLECREST ORCHARDS

We are seeking efficient, friendly, and  reliable individuals for part-time hours at both our orchard store and at the weekly farmer's markets in White Bear Lake and Stillwater.

Store associates are responsible for accurate and fast register transactions, efficient and friendly customer interactions, stocking, receiving, cleaning and general tidying. Store associates are also responsible for occasionally handling and packing fruit, assisting with setup and cleanup before and after store/market hours, assisting with customer's special orders, and other daily functions of the orchard store.

Flexibility and ability to work independently are essential. Eligible candidates will be able to work in a  fast-paced store environment, listen and communicate effectively with customers and other staff members, take direction, problem solve, understand and follow standard operating procedures, and contribute to the team with input and ideas.

Store and Market associates are required to have - ​

​

• A valid driver's license

• Basic math and money handling skills

• Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn about our orchard and the fruit that we grow.

• Able to occasionally lift up to 40 lb - a bushels worth.

 

    Customer service experience is preferred but not essential. Everyone learns somewhere! Artist skills and creative ability are a definite bonus, especially in the store.

Starting salary is $15/ hour and hours will be between 18-25 hours weekly.  The orchard store is open Wednesday - Fridays between 2pm- 6pm and weekends 10am-6pm. Various bonus job perks for working at the apple orchard and/or market, especially on the weekends!

 

The farmers markets are mornings to midday on Friday (White Bear Lake) and Saturday (Stillwater)
